Annihilator – Alice In Hell

Released in 1989, Alice in Hell is the debut album by Canadian band Annihilator, led by guitarist and songwriter Jeff Waters.

Widely regarded as a classic of technical thrash metal, the album blends speed, precision, and instrumental virtuosity, featuring intricate riffs, elaborate solos, and frequent rhythmic shifts. Produced by Waters himself, the record is marked by a sharp and clean sound that would become a signature of the band. Lyrically, it delves into dark, psychological themes, with the title track drawing inspiration from real-life accounts of mental illness and neglect.
