T. Rex is the fifth studio album by the British band led by Marc Bolan, released in 1970.

This record represents a major turning point in the group’s career, as they transitioned from the name Tyrannosaurus Rex—with its acoustic, psychedelic folk sound—to the more concise T. Rex, embracing a bolder, electric rock style.
